New Album: Raised By Tigers (2/28)

Raised By Tigers is an Indie Rock band hailing from the musically vibrant college town of Denton, Texas. Mike Canzano, Jason McMullen, Rob Peters, and Tyler Walker comprise the group. Their sound can range from post-punk leanings with swooping guitar textures to ambient acoustic/electronic pops and buzzes.
Aside from a few compilation appearances,The Long Con -(Pyramid Scheme) and Already Gone –(Already Gone Records),RBT’s first proper album LED was released in 2007 by the label TXMF and was mostly a collaboration between McMullen and Peters. The second album, Reunion Parts, is slated for release in early 2011 and features the work of the full band as well as former members Nate DeYonker (Dark Meat) and Pat Ferguson (Deep Snapper).
RBT has shared billing with these fine bands: Karate, Drums & Tuba, Dismemberment Plan, 90 Day Men, Mile Marker, Calla, The Get Hustle, Uz Jsme Doma, Les Savy Fav, The Paper Chase, Deerhoof, Mandarin, Riverboat Gamblers, Maserati, Saturday Looks Good to Me, Record Hop, Western Keys, The Panthers, Blood Thirsty Lovers, Baptsist Generals, Hella, Kind of Like Spitting, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Thriftstore Cowboys, Little Brazil, Travis Morrison,etc…

Coming soon is already here! Hailing from Buenos Aires, they are Lala (vocals), Pato (vocals & guitar), Javier (bass) & Pini (drums) and a bunch of lovely crafted tunes. Influenced by an array of indie, rock, house, funk & dub artists from different walks of life, they managed to melt all of that together properly into these beautiful booty grooves without any programmed electronic assistance.
“The greatest bar in the world” glides so smoothly, it’s ideal for cruising down the highway
“No way” is maybe the most melancholic one in here
“Fernet tastes good” is the perfect drop for an evening chill
