Our new Regina Spektor remix

Hey –

Hope you had a great Holiday & New Years, and that all is going well with Musikoon. We’ve been working hard to bring you some great new music, and we have some exciting news on that front.

We’re putting the finishing touches on our remix of Regina Spektor’s “Folding Chair,” and we’ll be debuting it on Wednesday night at our party in the East Village. We’re big on giving our music first to the people who are supportive of our live gigs, so we’ll be sending a 320kb/s mp3 of our new remix to everyone who’s in attendance. They’ll get it a week or so before we make it public. I know you’re not New York based, but if you’re able to have a reader in NYC drop by and forward you the remix (or on the off chance you’ll be in town on Wednesday), you’ll be able to get it before we put it out to all the other blogs.

All the info about the party is on our website, along with the flyer, but here are the details:

What: Primary Colors with (Pretty) Girls & Lasers
Cost: Free with RSVP at www.prettygirlsandlasers.com
When: Wednesday, January 6th – 9:30pm ‘till the end of the night.
Where: Arlo & Esme – 42 East 1st Street (between 1st & 2nd Avenues)
Why: Great music, a great crowd, and $5 Vodka drinks all night

Also, the guys from 13/31 (http://1331nyc.com/), an awesome production team based out of Brooklyn, will be coming by to do a guest set. If they’re not on your radar yet, take a second to check them out. They’re still pretty underground, but their stuff is solid.

Hope to see you out there on Wednesday. It’s going to be a blast.

-Jack & Levi
